This past Sunday, reality star/entrepreneur Jill Zarin had a party as fabulous as you might think it would be at her gorgeous contemporary Southampton home. There were giant rubber ducks in the Jacuzzi, burgers on the grill, fantastic hors d'oeuvres being passed and about 35 fashion and tech-forward companies with their merchandise on display.

I did a lot of sampling, fell in love with a frozen wine dessert called Frosae (that is an unbelievable 110 calories per half cup and so full of flavor), got a hand massage with the wonderful new Coconut Oil from Nature's Bounty and even got offered an on-site Hydrating Facial by Med Spa 44. I was also happy to meet up and get the 411 on Mophie products--these are a kind of superchargers for phone and they make charging cases for every model of smartphone out there today as well as mini-charging station that can charge any sort of mobile device.

Some of the celebs I met at the Luxe Luncheon included many of Ms. Zarin's fellow Bravo reality series stars. She stated afterwards that she thought the event was even more terrific than last years as over 200 guests turned up to mix and mingle in her backyard, living room and basement (which includes a personal makeup room where guests got makeovers, facials and gel manicures).

All the partying was for a good cause--to help stamp out cancer via the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. At the event, the fabric heiress thanked her friends including 2012 Miss USA Nana Meriwether, Patti Stanger, Cynthia Bailey, Jenna Von Oy, Kathy Wakile and Countess Luann De Lesseps for turning out! Desserts were supplied by Chef David Burke and hors d'oeuvres by Chef Roble Ali and The Carlyle Group, so guests just could not lose!

I plant to turn up again next year. I would have been happy just to stick my feet in Zarin's Jacuzzi, which overlooks both her infinity pool and the Atlantic Ocean and feel the breeze in my hair. A day that started out with rain turned out to be the perfect climate, but Zarin put up a white party tent with comfortable couches anyway "just in case." I almost accidentally ate an adorable doggy cookie created by veterinarian Dr. Cindy Bressler who had a booth at Zarin's event--but she quickly handed me an equally adorable "human cookie" for consumption, LOL! Other than that, no reality TV drama was created at Jill Zarin's fantasy-like affair!
