Rested and Relaxed with Zeel.com's In Home Massage on Demand

By: Finance Foodie

Living in NYC can be quite stressful, as climbing the corporate ladder can really do a lot of damage to one's body. After a particularly long and exhausting week of work that had my back aching and head spinning, I decided a good massage was imperative to my sanity and health. But did I want to trek all the way up to the Upper East Side to see my usual masseuse? (Answer: hails to the no, that's just a subway ride and trek too far for my tired soul). So what's a lethargic and lazy girl to do? Get the massage to come to you of course, courtesy of Zeel.com. Zeel is a revolutionary way to book same-day, in-home massages with licensed and vetted massage therapists - starting anytime between 8am and 10:30pm in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. It's super easy - just download the Zeel app on iTunes/Android, type in your address, what kind of massage you prefer, special requests, available appointment times and BOOM - you got yourself a massage on demand. In fact, it's so simple even my tech illiterate mother (who just got a text messaging a few months ago) had no problem navigating this site.

So after I booked an appointment, I got a text message confirming the name of my masseuse (Nicole Johnson), when she would be arriving, and what I needed to prepare for her (a towel, pillow and two sheets). Two hours before my scheduled massage, Nicole gave me a call telling me she was on her way. She showed up right on time - massage table and body creme in hand - and after a bit of friendly chit-chat, got straight to the business.
Zeel.com Masseuse Nicole, Working Hard
Hands down, this experience was really one of the most fantastic massages I've ever had (and I've had a lot of massages, especially in my banking days). Nicole was an excellent masseuse that really worked out all the knots in my neck and back. But best of all, the massage was done in the comfort of my own home - so when I was done, I could just sink into my couch and continue the relaxation. Although Zeel isn't the most affordable massage (~$160 for a 60 minute service, ~$100 + free massage table if you sign up for their 12 month subscription), it's a real value in my book, given the convenience and simplicity in booking (Finance Foodie readers, use the code FOODIEZEEL for $25 off your first massage). I probably won't do the subscription service (as I really don't have the space for a massage table in my tiny Manhattan apartment), but I will definitely be booking another Zeel.com massage when the work gets tough and back starts going.

Full Disclosure: I received a free massage from Zeel.com as part of my relationship with the Quality Blue Community. All opinions expressed are my own.
