I’ll be the first to admit – even though I’m not a big football fan, Super Bowl Sunday is still a must. This year, instead of the usual bag o’ chips and beer on the couch, I classed it up and went all out to the Hudson Terrace Super Bowl rooftop party hosted by NY Giants' Justin Tuck.
When we arrived, we were escorted to the 3rd floor, the covered rooftop, where all the action was happening. The room, which usually house tables for bottle service, was transformed into mini “pods” There, the Mister and I watched the Seattle Seahawks crush the Denver Broncos in our own little “pod” – complete with our own big screen HD TV, bottle service, snacks, and some friendly Australians on holiday.
During half time, we also had a chance to meet the host of the shindig – NY Giant defensive end Justin Tuck. All I can say is – wow this dude is big and tall!
During the middle of the fourth quarter (where the outcome of the game was pretty much sealed), the lights came down, the TV screens went silent and the music came on. By this time, the Bronco fans already exited the building and all the (well fed and well lubricated) Seahawk supporters started their fist pumping victory dance party. And just like that, Hudson Terrance transformed into another night out in the City – filled with bottles, babes and an all around good time.
