Goodness Bite Sized: Taste Testing McDonald's Chicken McBites

By: Finance Foodie

McDonald’s newest menu innovation, the Chicken McBites, are bite-sized pieces of deep fried  premium white chicken breast with a kick of home-style seasoning. To accommodate today’s on-the-go, fast paced lifestyle, Chicken McBites are packaged with built-in sauce holders to conveniently dunk each tasty bite in your favorite sauce and pop in your mouth while out and about.

I had a chance to taste test these babies the other day -- and let me say -- the McBites are much better than the old Chicken McNuggets I grew up with (mostly because they actually resemble a real chicken). Although a bit dry if eaten plain without the dipping sauce, these baby chickies make for the perfect comfort treat after a long day at school. And at 310 calories per snack sized box, this protein punch fills you up without weighing you down. Available in three sizes - Snack (3 oz.), Regular (5 oz.) and Shareable (10 oz.) – McDonald’s Chicken McBites are available at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide now - April 20, 2012.
