Eggland's Best Breakfast for Dinner at Stella Boston

Last week, I had breakfast for dinner at Stella to celebrate all things egg. Sponsored by Kitchenbelle.com and Eggland's Best, over 30 bloggers (alert: foodies overtaking Stella!) dined on "egg"cellent dishes - such as duck confit omelet, french toast, linguini carbonara, and grilled steak & eggs. Reps from Eggland's Best - including their own in-house PhD! - chatted about eggs, chickens, and what came first (kidding on the last part). Overall an "egg"ceptional evening!

    Fritatas. They are limited only by the extent of your imagination and taste buds. Try a sweet one with berries and chocolate ice cream sauce. Awesome.

    My favorite egg based dish is an Omelet. We can have them plain or with a little cheese. Some day swe go all out and put in chopped up veggies and leftover meats. Just tonight we had omelets with cheese, left over roasted veggies and some linguica.

    I cube potatoes and fry them with onions, garlic, jalapenos until they are almost done, then I add eggs,salsa, cumin, and cheese. It isn't pretty, but tastes really good.

    I love toads in holes: use a cookie cutter to cut a hole in a slice of bread, butter the bread, crack an egg into the hole, sprinkle with shredded cheese, fry, and enjoy!
