Ever wondered what's in the Oscar swag bag? Financefoodie.com has learned that Hollywood elite scheduled to walk the red carpet at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 7, 2010, will be getting their swag in Lauren Bush’s FEED Haiti tote bags. These goodie bags include "must have’"travel accessories, such as: Virgin Atlantic Gold Cards, providing access to world class lounges, priority check-in, upgrades, limo service and more miles; Morgans Hotel Group’s eclectic compilation CD No 4 played at MHG hotel properties around the globe; Vineyard Vines whimsical ties and preppy boxers; Frank O’Hara’s acclaimed book of poetry entitled, Meditations in an Emergency; and the whimsically named Bye Bye Bunches®, a product designed to free women from the tucking, pulling, rolling, and wrapping of their pants.
Recipients will include Kate Winslet, Peelope Cruz, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart, Robert Downey Jr, Matt Damon and George Clooney. Our colleagues on the red carpet will be giving a shout out to Mr. Clooney to see if his Bye Bye Bunches are fitting him just right!
Interesting. On a similar note, Guy Fieri's new show Minute to Win It is premiering this Sunday (March 14th) on NBC. It's a game show that looks pretty cool--more info here:http://www.nbc.com/minute-to-win-it/

Hi Garson, depends if your looking for fine dining or cheap eats. In a nutshell - For fine dining, I rec per se (ultimate fave), delmonicos (great steaks - v old school), and sushi yasuda (super fresh sushi). Cheap eats Joe's Ginger (soup dumplings amazing), Shake Shack (awesome burgers), and yum yum bangkok (cheap but satisfying pad thai). Hope this helps!
